A collection of 38 topics can be downloaded using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Also available from AusInfo for $20.00. Prepared jointly with the Cw Dept of Health and Ageing's Office for Older Australians, the third edition of Older Australia at a Glance provides insights into the diversity of the older population of Australia at the beginning of the 21st century. It updates and provides new material to this overview of the health, well-being and social circumstances of older Australians, and their health and aged care/welfare services. Information and statistics is included on demography, families and caring, housing, income, retirement, voluntary activities, older people's organisations, and expenditure trends. Sources of the data used are given, and further reading suggested.

Their retirement income leaflets became available for downloading in .pdf format in March 2000. They fall into three broad categories: general (eg deeming accounts, complaints resolution, rollovers, superannuation); financial planning series; and investment products.
